VICTORY DAY ACT OF REMEMBRANCE

The Mayor of Southwark and repesentatives of former Soviet
republics will join the annual Victory Day wreath-laying
ceremony at the Soviet War Memorial in Geraldine Mary
Harmsworth Park, 73 years after the end of the Second World
War in Europe.

THE OLD VIC BICENTENARY PROCESSION

12pm-1.30pm from National Theatre to Old Vic
A 10-piece marching band from Kansas Smitty's leads a
procession from the National Theatre to The Old Vic street
party in Webber Street by the stage door. Expect some
surprise performances along the way.

The Old Vic's 200th anniversary street party is in Webber
Street at the side of the theatre where you find the famous
stage door. There will be street performers, craft
activities, food stalls, an interactive pedal-powered sound
system and Showtime Photo Booth.
