2018? What will their vision be for the borough? Bankside
Residents' Forum - supported by Coin Street Community
Builders - is hosting #LE2018 hustings. This will be the
first of a series of hustings that Bankside Residents' Forum
will be hosting with a number of organisations across
Southwark and North Lambeth. Leaders from the local Labour
Party, Liberal Democrats, Conservative Party and Green Party
have all been invited to the hustings.

CATHEDRAL ARCHAEOLOGY AT SOUTHWARK: (A YEAR IN THE LIFE)

After her first year in post at Southwark Cathedral, Dr
Jackie Hall the Cathedral Archaeologist takes the
opportunity to review the archaeological works undertaken in
2017, notably on the East End and Gwilt's restoration of the
exterior. Specialising in buildings archaeology and long
time archaeologist for Peterborough Cathedral, Jackie Hall
looks at some of the many contrasts Southwark brings, both
with her previous work and between different parts of the
Cathedral itself.

CROSSBONES CELEBRATION
Saturday 18 November
2pm-6pm  at Cross Bones Graveyard,  Redcross Way; free
A special opening of Crossbones Garden - with guided tours,
talks and promenade performances on the site of the
outcasts' burial ground - celebrating its extraordinary past
and present, and plans for the future of the garden. Hosted
by John Constable, author of The Southwark Mysteries, with
Katy Nicholls. 2.30pm and 5pm: historical tours of
Crossbones Graveyard from 3pm: Wolfshead and Vixen border
