BRIDGE: REMIX
Monday 31 July

Experience the history of the women who built Waterloo
Bridge told through a digital dance performance. This
digital dance performance involves 16 coders and 3 dancers
on stage changing the choreography in real time using
movement sensors, sound and light. Choreography is by Pell
Ensemble, digital development is led by Su Adams of U Can
Too and the sound score was developed by Angus MacRae.
'Bridge: Remix' is part of The Bridge at Waterloo's outreach
project.

PEGGY GUGGENHEIM: ART ADDICT - COMMUNITY FILM CLUB

Join artist Jessica Voorsanger for the last of a trio of
Community Film Club screenings that focus on the lives of
artists and collectors. Join us and artist Jessica
Voorsanger for the third of a trio of film screenings that
focus on the lives of artists and collectors. This month:
the portrait of a woman with a colourful personality and
personal history who maintained her vision to build one of
the most important collections of modern art. Membership of

FAMILY ACTIVITY DAY

10am-1pm at London Fire Brigade Pop-up Museum, The
Workshop, Lambeth High Street; free
Family activity day at the London Fire Brigade's pop-up
museum in Lambeth. Come and make your own mini animation

Team London Bridge has appointed Sherry Dobbin to devise a
new cultural strategy and identity for the London Bridge
area. Team London Bridge is inviting everyone interested in
London Bridge's cultural reawakening to drop by The Hive.
Come and meet Team London Bridge, your neighbours and Sherry
Dobbin to contribute your fantasies (or fears) for existing
and new cultural offerings in the area.

OLD PARADAISE YARD OPEN STUDIOS
Thursday 3 August
6pm-8pm at Old Paradise Yard, 20 Carlisle Lane; free
Old Paradise Yard will be opening its doors and inviting
visitors to catch a behind the scenes glimpse of their
eclectic range of artistic makers, artists and creators at
their Lambeth studios. Visitors can expect to enjoy musical
performance, interactive art installations, food, drinks and
dancing.

LAMBETH PALACE GARDEN OPEN DAY
Friday 4 August
12pm-3pm at Lambeth Palace, Lambeth Palace Road; £5
(proceeds to charity)
Lambeth Palace is the London home and office of the
Archbishop of Canterbury. It's high summer: the Plumbago,
Morning Glory and Oleander are splendid; the espaliered
pears are abundant and the 500-year-old fig tree is full of
fruit. Entry is £5 for adults for the benefit of a local
charity, which this month is the Children's Air Ambulance.
BBQ and other refreshments will be available. There is no
need to book. The Great Hall is also open, and Friends of
Lambeth Palace Library are admitted free, as are children.
Friendly dogs on leads are very welcome.

LONDON CURRICULUM
Saturday 5 August
11am-1.30pm & 3pm-5pm at National Theatre, South Bank; free
The City Hall-backed London Curriculum is a fun way of
teaching young people about the City, using London itself as
a classroom. Hundreds of schools have used the learning
resources, and now a new series of trails has been produced
for parents and carers to use too. Come along to the
National Theatre and meet the London Curriculum team. It's a
chance to find out more about the London Curriculum,
discover the trails (including one covering the South Bank)
and join in free family workshops.
