The Mayor of Southwark, local and national politicians, diplomats from the embassies of the CIS and other countries, war veterans from Russia and the UK, representatives from a broad range of political and community organisations and many others will gather to pay their respects at the Memorial dedicated to the 27 million Soviet soldiers and civilians who died in the Second World War.
