The market will be filled with the sounds and smells of both cultures as Borough Market traders celebrate with specialities including swords of cheese, George and the dragon biscuits, English mead and Catalan seafood fideua. There will be free cookery demonstrations throughout the day, a family-friendly performance of George and the Dragon from theatre company 'The Lions part' plus Folk Dance Remixed will be bringing their unique fusion of folk and hiphop dance for a modern take on the traditional may-pole dancing.
