FREE LUNCHTIME CONCERT
Thursday 7 April
1pm at St George the Martyr,  Borough High Street; free
Beatrice Nicholas performs piano works by Haydn, Chopin,
Haydn, Spratley and Liszt. The recital lasts approx 45
minutes, followed by light refreshments and a chance to meet
the performer. You are welcome to bring your own lunch to
eat during the recital if you wish.

BACH TO BABY
Friday 8 April
10.30am at St Mary Magdalen,  Bermondsey Street; �10 or less
online, �12 adult on the door; children free
Bach to Baby is brought to you by award-winning concert
pianist and local mum Miaomiao Yu. The idea is simply to
bring adults and kids of all ages together for a lively
morning of music. Suitable for both under 5s and under 95s.

PORCH SALE OUTSIDE HENRY WOOD HALL, TRINITY CHURCH SQUARE
Saturday 9 April
10am-3pm  at Henry Wood Hall, Trinity Church Square; free
Hundreds of books, CDs, DVDs and also many and varied
bric-a-brac for sale under the portico of Henry Wood Hall.
In aid of TNRA funds.

VAISAKHI 2016 - SIKH FESTIVAL
Saturday 9 April
1pm-6pm  at City Hall, The Queen's Walk; free
Come and celebrate the Sikh festival of Vaisakhi with an
afternoon of indoor and outdoor activities at City Hall. A
celebration of Sikh tradition, heritage and culture, the
event programme will include shabad kirtan (spiritual
music), langar (food), turban tying, folk dance, martial
arts, children�s activities, and much more! The event is
organised by the Mayor of London, with support from Singh
Sabha London East and EY Sikh Network.

DR BIKE
Saturday 9 to Sunday 10 April
11am-4pm at Design Museum,  Shad Thames; free
Cycle Confident will be at the museum hosting a free Dr Bike
service and cycle training taster sessions. Drop in and get
your bike checked over by the experts. Qualified instructors
will be on hand to take you for a short spin and give you a
taste of what to expect if you book a free one-to-one cycle
training session.
