CHORAL CONCERT
Thursday 31 March
4.30pm at Southwark Cathedral,  London Bridge; free
Two of Germany's most prestigious choirs, the Limburger
Domsingknaben and Ensemble Rossignol, will give their only
London concert. When the choristers of Ensemble Rossignol
founded the male chamber choir they looked at it as a
further development of their shared roots as members with
the Limburg Cathedral Boys' Choir. The choirs will perform
masterpieces by JS Bach "Unser Leben ist ein Schatten",
Bruckner "Os justi", Palestrina "Missa Papae Marcelli",
Nystedt "I will praise thee, o Lord", Schronen "Ubi
Caritas".

LAMBETH PALACE GARDEN OPEN DAY IN AID OF BRITISH RED CROSS
Friday 1 April
12pm-3pm  at Lambeth Palace,  Lambeth Palace Road; �5
(children free)
For the second year running, the Archbishop of Canterbury
has opened up SE1's largest private garden for visitors on a
regular monthly schedule from March to October. Tea, coffee
and soft drinks will be available to purchase, together with
plants from the garden, Lambeth Palace honey and souvenirs.

PLAYING UP: LIVE ART FOR KIDS AND ADULTS
Friday 1 to Sunday 3 April
12 noon-7pm (Sun till 6pm) at Turbine Hall, Tate Modern,
Bankside; free
Make clothes out of food, lie on top of cars, dance with
animals and remote control your parents! Playing Up is a
participatory artwork exploring the potential of live art to
bridge generations, taking the form of a game played by
adults and kids together. Playing Up will be launched with a
three day mass 'play-in' for kids and adults. Come as a team
or on your own and Children Guides will set you up with all
you need. Follow the instructions, invent your own piece of
live art, and perform it in the Turbine Hall.

COOLSE1 SATURDAY MORNING PICTURE CLUB - GUIDED WALK
Saturday 2 April
11am at Bermondsey Underground Station,  Jamaica Road; free
Saturday Morning is pictures time! Join CoolTan Arts for a
trip down memory lane and find out about the old silver
screens in and around Bermondsey. This is a free guided walk
uncovering the story of the rise and decline of cinemas and
music halls in Bermondsey. The walk will finish near
Bermondsey Square at about 12.30pm.
