{ Advert: Autumn Language Classes 2013 }

French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Portuguese

A series of language courses will be running from September
2013 for ten weeks and will be held on Tuesdays at Chiswell
Street near Moorgate and on Thursdays at More London (near
London Bridge). Courses are open to beginners, intermediate
and advanced speakers of French, Spanish and Italian as well
as beginners of Portuguese and German.

The price  will range from �130 for returning students to
�160 for new students.

INTERNATIONAL CHILDRENS CHOIR FESTIVAL CONCERT
Monday 29 July
7.30pm at Southwark Cathedral,  London Bridge; �10
Ten children's choirs from the United States and Canada
combine to sing with the Virtuosi of London Orchestra. The
annual event was founded in 1997 by former Canterbury
Cathedral American lay clerk David Searles.

OLD KENT ROAD PLANNING POLICY WORKSHOP

document for the Old Kent Road area. This workshop is an
opportunity to discuss and record people's views at an early

LONDON FIRE BRIGADE MUSEUM OPEN DAY
Friday 2 August
11am-4pm  at London Fire Brigade Museum, Winchester House,
94A Southwark Bridge Road; free
Come and see one of the largest collections of firefighting
memorabilia and historic fire engines in the country. All
ages are welcome and there will be activities for everyone.
Discover LFB's fascinating history and learn about the role
of the Brigade today, with special appearances by the fire
investigation team dogs and the education team.
