VAUXHALL: A LITTLE HISTORY WITH ROSS DAVIES

was the King who forced a teenage widow and  mother to marry
the brute? And how did Vauxhall give the world its first
open-air pop festival,mass audience for art and music, plus
celebrity PR, royal endorsement and portion control? Lambeth
writer Ross Davies, author of the acclaimed Vauxhall: A
Little History, and actor Charles Davies recreate some
colourful episodes from the lively history of Vauxhall, the
parliamentary constituency area that stretches from Waterloo
through Kennington to Clapham.

How fast can you kick? How good�s your shot? How long can
you go? Come down to The Scoop at More London and have a go
at netball and football shoot outs or show off your hoola
hoop skills! Led by the fitness specialists from 37 degrees
you will be given tips and lots of encouragement It promises
to be a fun event which will also raise money for Sport
Relief. POD, London's healthy fast food retailer, will also
be on site so that you can sample their wares.
