Final community council meeting for Riverside, Grange &
South Bermondsey wards before the local elections in May.
Meet your councillors, hear about local projects and have
your say. Councillors will present their 'record of
achievement' for the past four years. This year's Cleaner
Greener Safer funding will be announced. Plus regular
reports from local police officers and community wardens.
There will be stalls to view regarding the Bankside, Borough
and London Bridge Planning Framework and Burgess Park.

OPEN MIC AT SOUTHWARK PLAYHOUSE
Sunday 7 March
Doors open 5pm at Southwark Playhouse,  Shipwright Yard;
donations on the door
Southwark Playhouse Young Company (aka YOCO) is to host
another open mic event with a difference. Combining mixed
media and live performances the event will showcase the
talents of film-makers, dancers, word-artists, actors and
singers from the area. In addition a small collection of art
work from young artists will be exhibited and auctioned on
the evening. This will be the biggest open mic event to date
with the hopes of attracting a larger audience of young
creatives. The theme for the evening is 'LOST'. A percentage
of the profits will go towards the relief effort in Haiti.
