NHS SOUTHWARK PUBLIC MEETING ON DRUG AND ALCOHOL SERVICES
Tuesday 8 December
7pm at Bankside House, 24 Sumner Street
NHS Southwark is carrying out a consultation on proposed
changes to the delivery of drug and alcohol services in the
borough. The plan involves basing SLaM's clinical staff from
both Community Drug and Alcohol Teams (CDAT) in one site
rather than the current two (the preferred site option being
CDAT at Blackfriars Road with the remainder of the SLaM
Specialist Teams being based at Marina House).

SOUTH BANK FORUM

Quarterly meeting for South Bank residents convened by Kate
Hoey and Simon Hughes. The National Theatre is planning
interesting changes to its building over the next ten years.
Enjoy an insight into the proposals, which will include a
new entrance, riverside cafe and education space. We all
need to use less and recycle more. Representatives from
Lambeth and Southwark share their top tips for Christmas
recycling and give an overview of local services, including
waste collection. Shop local! Find out about special
Christmas shopping events, discounts, deals and new outlets
in the area which will make shopping a festive treat. Stay
safe and aware this Christmas. Meet your local fire station
manager who will be offering information on free home fire
safety visits and fire alarms for residents.

BAD SANTA AT SHORTWAVE IN BERMONDSEY SQUARE

Sasquatch Cinema is a monthly film night showing an eclectic

ROB PRUITT'S FLEA MARKET: TATE MODERN LIVE
Saturday 12 December
11am-10pm  at Turbine Hall Bridge, Tate Modern,  Bankside;

Tate Modern has worked with New York-based artist Rob Pruitt
to restage a flea market event he originally hosted in New
York in the late 1990s. This time round, Pruitt has worked
with a new selection of London-based artists, plus some of
the original participants, to set up market stalls selling
an array of items including artists editions, photographs,
Christmas cards, artist mixtapes, fashion, fruitcakes and
stockings all by favourite artists and other surprise
guests.

CRISIS CAROL SERVICE
