Go to http://www.fandmpublications.co.uk and click on the rat. There is a new free story to download every day till Christmas Eve. It works like an advent calendar, except that behind these doors are a dozen disturbing downloads which include: Warnings about what pies you eat this festive season; who (or should that be what?) you cop off with at the office party; the dangers of staring into the wrong crib; why you should beware of geese (at least those from Southwark); a warning about wanting a pony for Christmas and reasons for not wandering off into the woods to gather your own holly. The stories have been selected from the dozens published over the past few years in One Eye Grey plus one taster for 2009. ============================================================ { Hot topics from the London SE1 Forum } Our weekly digest of topics raised in recent discussions at http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/list/1 * Three Houses - massive skyscrapers near Snowsfields http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/1/101078 * Police - Burgess Park / Trafalgar Avenue http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/1/101360 * Trophy Engraving http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/1/101324 * Glass for picture frame http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/1/101308 * Terrible quality of food at The George http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/1/101298 * Roof terrace Decima Street near Icon http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/1/101285 * Dance Classes/Acting for 3/4 Yr old http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/1/101261 * Christmas Lights in and around SE1 http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/1/101236 * What was Eugene Cotter? http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/1/101199 * Prince of Wales visits Hatfields http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/1/101197 * New 99p store at Elephant and Castle! http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/1/100992 * Safe deposit locker http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/1/100988 * Tower Bridge closure soon http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/1/100978 * Toulouse Lautrec wine bar http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/1/100941 * Why is City Hall so un-Christmassy?? http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/1/100917 To see all the current active forum topics, go to: http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/list/1 ============================================================ { Business forum in association with Better Bankside } * Unemployment in SE1 http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/7/99787 * Wanted: Desk space in Shad Thames or London Bridge http://www.London-SE1.co.uk/forum/read/7/99601 Read more at http://forum.betterbankside.co.uk ============================================================ CONTACT DETAILS ============================================================ Before sending us event information please see http://www.banksidepress.com/listings/ Editor: James Hatts - [email protected] SE1 Direct is copyright (c) 2008 Bankside Press ============================================================ SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION ============================================================
