The work has been commissioned by a broad group comprising the London Borough of Southwark, Tate Modern, The Architecture Foundation, Transport for London, Land Securities, Cross River Partnership, Native Land, and has been co-ordinated by Better Bankside. Mr Gallenzi will read from his own poetry in Italian and John Calder will also read from the English translation and perhaps some of his own work. A new regime will be inaugurated in the most suitable way possible.
