unique open-air event - a pacey, thought-provoking,

trademark blend of wit, drama, comedy, puppetry and live
music, in keeping with the lively and accessible style in
which these pieces were first performed.  Wrap up warmly and
bring an umbrella for this magical free celebration of the
story of Christmas in the open air.

CRISIS WINTER WALKABOUT
Thursday 28 December
Registration 1.30pm for a 2pm start at Hay's Galleria
Crack the code and claim the treasure! Join this sponsored
treasure hunt along the Thames and spread some Christmas
cheer among London's homeless. Starting with registration at
Hay's Galleria, the route takes you along spectacular Thames
walkways, finishing as the sun sets over the city.  Register

NEW YEAR FIREWORKS
Monday 1 January
12am-12.10am at British Airways London Eye, free
A spectacular fireworks display fired from the London Eye
will mark midnight on New Year's Day. More 200,000 people
are expected to celebrate the start of 2007 in central
London. The fireworks can be viewed wherever you can se
e the Eye - from balconies, windows and high points across
the capital. 
The display will also be broadcast live on BBC  One. There
are viewing areas between Waterloo and Westminster Bridges
on the banks of the Thames.  A rolling programme of lighting
and large-scale projection effects will animate the Shell
Centre before the countdown into 2007 commences. This year's
theme is Dreams of London featuring the aspirations of
pupils from Johanna Primary School in Waterloo.
