BANKSIDE RIVER WALK LANDSCAPE PROPOSALS CONSULTATION
Monday 2 to Friday 6 February
10am-4pm; north of Falcon Point and Riverside Walk
Exhibition showing suggested landscape improvements to
the riverside west of Tate Modern. Council officers
will be in attendance on Tuesday afternoon. The Project
Manager is Mavernie Buchanan.

BOROUGH & BANKSIDE COMMUNITY COUNCIL
Wednesday 4 February
7pm at Charles Dickens School, Lant Street
Monthly meeting open to residents of Chaucer and
Cathedrals wards. Agenda includes an introduction to
the 2004 Southwark Community Games programme, a
presentation on Section 106 money agreements and the
consultation  process and a n update on policing issues
in Borough and Bankside. Development control items
include listed building consent for the installation in
Trinity Church Square of a static safety line at roof
level (raised steel cable with fittings, attached to
upper surface of parapet wall) and a planning
application for The Chandlery, 50 Westminster Bridge
Road for the conversion of upper floors to seven
residential units  and six live/work units including
new mezzanine floors, balconies and ground floor
extension to provide reception area.

SE1 PUPILS CREATE MYTHICAL CREATURES PATCHWORK
Pupils from two SE1 primary schools have taken part in
a project to create a mythical creatures patchwork
quilt, which will be auctioned off for charity later
this year.
