GUY'S HOSPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
On Monday Simon Hughes MP will be unveiling the
improvement works that have taken place at the St
Thomas Street entrance to Guy's Hospital. The Pool of
London Partnership has funded 80% of Phase 1 works to
improve this busy area. The works include new paving, a
new clear and welcoming sign and a new lighting scheme
for Great Maze Pond, the main route through the
hospital site.

PUBLIC MEETING: A VISION FOR JUBILEE GARDENS
Wednesday 24 July
7pm, Franlin Wilkins Building, King's College, Stamford
Street
Kate Hoey MP, Simon Hughes MP and Cllr Peter Truesdale,
leader of Lambeth Council will host this meeting called
by Lambeth Council and the South Bank Partnership to
discuss the best ways to improve Jubilee Gardens.

Residents of Falcon Point next to Tate Modern on
Bankside yesterday displayed banners and posters in
protest against Southwark Property's plans for a
substantial ground floor extension to the building
which would encroach on the riverside walkway.
