[ Hic! The Entire History of Wine - Abridged ]

The Wine Wharf wine bar in Stoney Street, part of the
Vinopolis complex, will next week provide the setting
for three performances of Julian Curry's one man show
Hic! The Entire History of Wine - Abridged, described
as "a light-hearted history of wine and wine-making". 

Julian Curry's television credits include Rumpole of
the Bailey and Kavanagh QC.

Performances start at 7.30pm on Tuesday 8, Thursday 10
and Friday 11 May, and tickets are �20 from 0870 241
4040.

[ Southwark Mysteries update ]

SE1-based poet and playwright John Constable will be
performing again on Saturday: 

Crow's Nest @ The Den of Enlightenment 
Imperial Gardens, 299 Camberwell New Road, SE5 
11pm-6am �10 (concs �6)

John Constable (aka John Crow) conducts a visionary
voyage to the heart of the Den of Enlightenment,
performing shamanic raps and ritual dramas from The
Southwark Mysteries. 

The secret history of Southwark - as revealed by The
Goose, a medieval whore of The Liberty, her bones
unearthed when the Jubilee Line Extension dug up the
Crossbones graveyard. A vision of healing and
transformation - the Spirit in the flesh, the Sacred in
the profane, Eternity in time...
