MPT: BIG FREEZE ON SOUTH BANK

The banks of the river will flood with people, all waiting
for the signal to freeze. The largest freeze yet to descend
on London. Yet not frozen but poised: ready to discover what
happens next. There are rumours the concrete cityscape may
become a dance floor, a film set, a rocket launch-pad...

AROUND THE WORLD IN A DAY
Sunday 29 June
The Hilton London Tower Bridge is inviting local people to
travel "around the world in a day" as part of the Hilton in
the Community Foundation's biggest ever national charity
event. Around the World in a Day participants will
collectively aim to travel the circumference of the earth -
24,901.55 miles - by taking part in one of two events: the
competitive Team Challenge or the more relaxed Miles4fun,
designed for families.

FLAVA FIESTA AT THE SCOOP

Youth empowerment charity Envision is bringing young
Londoners together for an event about ethical and healthy
eating. To mark the Year of Food and Farming, young people
will be creatively campaigning through interactive theatre
and inviting the public to pledge to eat more sustainably.
