SOUTH BANK FORUM
Thursday 16 March
7pm at Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre, 108 Stamford Street
Regular meeting for South Bank and Waterloo residents
co-hosted by MPs Kate Hoey and Neil Coyle together with
councillors from Bishop's ward (Lambeth) and Cathedrals ward
(Southwark). Agenda includes a Garden Bridge update from
Cllr Jennifer Mosley. Other transport schemes on the agenda
include the IMAX roundabout and the Westminster Bridge South
project. There will also be news on the Hungerford car park
development and Southbank Place (Shell Centre). A short film
will also be shown in tribute to the late Patricia Moberly.

OPEN HOUSE AT PLATFORM SOUTHWARK
Saturday 18 March
1pm-7pm  at Platform Southwark, 1 Joan Street; free
Artists, theatre makers and creative organisations in
residence at Platform Southwark are hosting an Open House to
welcome everyone into the building to see what happens
inside. The resident organisations are celebrating all that
goes on inside Platform, by bringing every room to life,
with free workshops, talks, games and things to discover.
Facilitated by developers U+I in partnership with TfL,
Platform is multi-discipline temporary project space with a
mission to encourage and promote ground breaking art, music
and performance. Set over three floors, it is a place where
artists can collaborate and engage with the local community,
have fun and create something special. Activities on the day
will be run by the Young Vic, TfL, Illuminate Productions,
Brainchild and resident artist Kate Tiernan.
