BERNIE SPAIN GARDENS CONSULTATION
Tuesday 18 October
3.30pm-7.30pm  at Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre, 108
Stamford Street
If you missed the pop up events last week in the park you
can pop in to the neighbourhood centre to see the display
and pick up a survey. There will also be a staffed pop up
event just outside the neighbourhood centre on Tuesday 18
October from 3.30pm to 7.30pm where you can tell tell Coin
Street staff what you think of the gardens and how you think
they could be improved.

ST GEORGE'S ORGAN RESTORATION APPEAL LAUNCH

Exhibition 5.30pm; talk 6.45pm; recital 7pm at St George the
Martyr,  Borough High Street; free
Launch of an appeal to restore the historic organ of St
George the Martyr. Featuring an exhibition and talk about
the work of organ builder Abraham Jordan, whose workshop was
in the parish, and a recital by Lord Mayor of London elect
Dr Andrew Parmley.

THE COLLABORATIVE ORCHESTRA AND SINGERS
Saturday 22 October
6pm-10.30pm  at The Coronet, 28 New Kent Road; �15+ from

Britain's Got Talent Semi-Finalists, The Collaborative
Orchestra and Singers captured and inspired the hearts and
minds of over 10 million people who watched them audition
for the show with their rendition of Queen's Don't Stop Me
Now, followed by their live Semi-Final performance of The
Beatles' Hey Jude. Now, for the first time since their huge
success on Britain's Got Talent, and for one night only, The
Collaborative Orchestra and Singers are back in concert, at
the historic Coronet at the E&C.

APPLE DAY AT BOROUGH MARKET
Sunday 23 October
12pm-4pm  at Green Market, Borough Market; free
Stalls selling apples and apple-based products, as well as
music, apple peeling competitions and other activities.
Apple Day will be marked by Southwark Cathedral with a short
act of harvest worship in the Green Market at 12.15pm,
featuring the Borough Market Choir. The Lions part's annual
October Plenty procession will also end up at the market.

OCTOBER PLENTY - THE LIONS PART
Sunday 23 October
Meet 12pm outside Shakespeare's Globe, Bankside; free
October Plenty is an Autumn harvest celebration held
annually in Southwark. Beginning on Bankside, by
Shakespeare's Globe, the event mixes ancient seasonal
customs and theatre with contemporary festivity, joining
with Borough Market's Apple Day event.
