Elan Meeting Rooms is a newly refurbished meeting space in
SE1 suitable for Board meetings, Seminars, Meetings and
Workshops. We are conveniently located in Central London
near London Bridge Station, at Royal Oak Yard, just off 156
Bermondsey Street.  The seminar room is very well located on
the ground floor, with direct access from the main entrance
to the building. The room is light and airy and well
ventilated, holding up to 12 people seated for boardroom
style as well as for seminar style and can be hired per
hour, for a half or full day. The room includes a 50 inch
high definition flat screen TV to be used for projection.
There is free wifi and plenty of cat5 and electrical points.
There is flexibility with the table and chair arrangements
to suit your requirements. Whether you are looking for
somewhere to host a seminar or a very professional space to
present to clients, Elan meeting rooms offer a variety of
meeting options at very reasonable prices.
                                    
Catering & Facilities
Tea, coffee, beverages and catering for light lunches can be
ordered in from the nearby coffee shop upon request.  
                                                      
Pricing
The meeting room can be hired per hour for �25 plus vat,
half day �90 plus vat and for full day �175 plus vat

Southwark Plan, which will be the statutory plan for all
development across the borough, including policies on tall
buildings, open space and affordable housing. It also
includes 'visions' for each area, including Bankside. Does

THE SECRET WORLD OF DRONE WARFARE

Drones, or remotely piloted aircraft, have often made the
headlines in recent years, particularly in relation to
conflict in the Middle East. But what do we really know
about them and how they are used? Join Chris Woods,
award-winning investigative journalist, as he explores the
secret world of drone warfare and how it has changed the
modern battlefield. Following the talk Chris will be on hand
to sign copies of his latest book Sudden Justice: America's
Secret Drone Wars. This talk is linked to current display
Fighting Extremes: From Ebola to ISIS, which will be open to
view after the talk.

JOURNEY THE CAMINO & CANDYFLOSS GUITAR

An evening about the historic Spanish pilgrimage, the Camino
de Santiago and one man's journey that inspired him to walk.
Join Adam Wells, founder of Discover the Camino, and Stephen
Marriott, debut author/blogger. Adam shares his knowledge
and tips for making the Camino de Santiago a rewarding and
unforgettable experience. Stephen talks about his personal
Camino journey and how it gave him the gift of creativity in
the form of a book - "Candyfloss Guitar, a tale of music and
ghosts on the Camino de Santiago". You can expect
enlightening anecdotes, Spanish history and transformational
stories.

FREE LUNCHTIME CONCERT

Stelios Kyriakidis will give a guitar recital including
pieces by J. Dowland and Bach. The recital lasts approx 45
minutes, followed by light refreshments and a chance to meet

LIBERTY OF THE MINT CONSERVATION AREA PUBLIC MEETING
Thursday 4 February
4pm-6.30pm  at St George the Martyr,  Borough High Street
Last year Southwark's planning committee introduced the
Liberty of the Mint Conservation Area. Now local residents,
businesses and interested groups are invited to comment on
the designation of the conservation area. The new
conservation area includes all of the buildings in Sanctuary
Street, Vine Yard, Toulmin Street, Bittern Street, Weller
Street, Trundle Street, Caleb Street and Quilp Street. Parts
of Borough High Street, Marshalsea Road, Lant Street, Sudrey
Street, Redcross Way and Great Suffolk Street also fall
within the area.
