GARDEN BRIDGE PUBLIC MEETING
Wednesday 13 August
7pm at Waterloo Action Centre, 14 Baylis Road
The Garden Bridge Trust has applied for planning permission
for a new pedestrian bridge between the South Bank and
Temple, and has asked Waterloo Community Development Group
to host a public meeting where they can present the
proposals, answer any questions and address various concerns
which have been raised in recent months. The meeting is
primarily aimed at Waterloo residents, but other local
stakeholders are welcome to attend.

Join the Largactyl Shuffle this August on an Industrial Walk
through the main thoroughfares, back streets and riverside
stretches of Southwark and Bankside. Explore the area�s
industrial heritage and the fascinating social history that
lies behind it. On the way you will visit the Hop Exchange,
the historic riverside wharves, the Leathermarket, Jam
Factory and explore the work of the local artisans, such as
ropemakers and weavers, who made the area their home.
