New sessions Starting January 2014

French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Portuguese

A series of language courses will be running from January
for ten weeks and will be held  on Tuesdays  near Moorgate
and on Thursdays at More London (near London Bridge).
Courses are open to beginners, intermediate and advanced
speakers of French, Spanish and Italian as well as beginners
of Portuguese and German.The price  will range from �130 for
returning students to �160 for new students.

JACK AND THE BEANSTALK

Bermondsey-based am dram group the Quay Players bring their
annual pantomime to a bigger and better venue. All is not
well in panto land. The evil giant Blunderbore rules over Ye
Olde Bermondsey with an iron fist. Jack, Jill and the other
inhabitants of the village live in perpetual fear of what
will happen to them if they cannot pay their punitive taxes.
Jack and the Beanstalk stars a host of your favourte
pantomime characters, and the well-known show tunes and pop
songs will have you tapping your toes all the way up to
Christmas. Written for the Quay Players by West End writer
and director Ian McFarlane.

CHRISTMAS CARNAVAL DEL PUEBLO

The biggest Latin carnival in the UK takes over the whole of
the Coronet Theatre in Elephant & Castle, the stronghold and
heart of the Latin American community in London, to present
a true Latin Christmas carnival event headlined by Puerto
Rican Salsa legend David Pabon 'El Angel de la Salsa' and
his 11-piece orchestra. A line up of UK Latin artists and a
lot of other events taking place throughout the day in the
Main Arena and the 3 floors upstairs, including 'El Pueblo
Got Talent' competition & free Latin dance classes and Salsa
& Bachata DJs in 2 additional rooms under the direction of
Ola Latina & Alcadanz, plus other areas with arts & crafts
stalls and Latin American food.
