COME AND MAKE POTS FOR 'FIRING ON THE FORESHORE' ON BANKSIDE
Thursday 30 August
11am-1pm; Meet at the river stairs near Shakespeare's Globe
Remember foraging for the pieces for the Tate Community
Garden Labyrinth? Come and make your own. Come and make pots
for Firing on the Foreshore. All free and no experience
required. Pots and other artefacts are required to be fired
on the foreshore on 15 September. You come and make them -
Bankside STEWards will dry them and take them to the fires.

SENSORY GUIDED TOUR OF BOROUGH MARKET & LOCAL TUBE STATIONS
Friday 31 August
12pm at Southwark Underground Station, 68-70 Blackfriars

Have your senses switched on during these walking tours
based on a major new art work commissioned by London
Underground's art programme Platform for Art at London
Bridge and Southwark Underground stations. Led by theatre
director Cassie Werber, the interactive tours are a unique
opportunity to join a tasting session at Borough Market and
explore 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth', a series of
large-scale photographic artworks celebrating the heritage
of cookery and Underground travel by artist Gayle Chong Kwan
with station staff, catering students, market traders and
waiters from Roast restaurant. Attendees must have a valid
Zone 1 ticket or Oystercard.
