RENAISSANCE: THE REVITALISATION OF THE ELEPHANT & CASTLE
Friday 19 to Saturday 20 January
11am-4pm outside the LCC at London College of Communication,
Elephant & Castle
A major exhibition showcasing the 1.5 billion regeneration
of Elephant and Castle.  The exhibition will highlight the
extensive work Southwark Council has undertaken over the
last four years on the eve of selecting a commercial
development partner that will fund the massive
infrastructural changes planned over the next eight years.

PRAYER WALK - WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY
Saturday 20 January
10.30am-4pm; starts at Haddon Hall Baptist Church, Tower
Bridge Road
Walk for Week of Prayer for Christian Unity starts at Haddon
Hall Church and visits nine SE1 churches before ending in St
George's RC Cathedral at 4pm.  Bring a picnic lunch to be
eaten indoors. Hot drinks provided.   An ecumenical event
organised by Southwark Cathedral and other churches.
