Meet 6.45pm at Morley College, 52 Westminster Bridge

Morley-based historian Brian Bloice leads a two hour
walk around the area.


GRAND OPEN DAY AT ST GEORGE-THE-MARTYR, BOROUGH HIGH ST
Saturday 15 June
10.30am-4pm at St George-the-Martyr, Borough High
Street; free
Stalls, displays from local groups, music, tombola,
refreshments, books and old London prints. Also a
chance to look around the famous 'Little Dorrit Church'
which is in need of major restoration including a new
ceiling. This is one of the first to be dedicated to
England's patron saint.

CELEBRATING SANCTUARY: COIN STREET FESTIVAL
Sunday 16 June
2-7pm in Bernie Spain Gardens (between the Oxo Tower
and Gabriel's Wharf); free
Afternoon of music, dance and children's activities by
artists from refugee communities.Food, drink and craft
stalls. Part of the Coin Street Festival and presented
in association with the Refugee Council, London Arts
and Radio 3.
