Friday afternoon. Teatime. We sat munching Flap Jacks
and moist carrot cake with a creamy topping
(excellently delicious) whilst talking and drinking in
both fragrant teas and history at the Bramah Tea &
Coffee Museum.

NEW PROJECTS IN SOUTH BANK AND WATERLOO EXHIBITION
Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 April
Thursday 10am-8pm; Friday & Saturday 10am-6pm; Ground
Floor, The Bargehouse, Oxo Tower Wharf, Bargehouse
Street
Over the next couple of months local residents and
employees will have the chance to find out about and
discuss proposals for improvement to the South Bank and
Waterloo area. Organised by South Bank Employers' Group
and the Waterloo Project Board, the Travelling
Exhibition will visit seven locations, displaying
information and illustrations on more than 40 proposed
projects

giving the world premiere of a new work composed
specially for performance in Southwark Underground
Station. Recorded fragments played over the tannoy
system throughout the day. It's free to anyone with a
valid tube ticket! The event is part of the State of
the Nation weekend at the South Bank Centre
