LISTED STATUS FOR WATERLOO ARCH
Lambeth Council has welcomed the news that the
Department of Culture has given Waterloo Station's
Victory Arch listed building status.

Plans for a new retail and office building on the South
Bank were given the go ahead by London Mayor Ken

SE1 SCHOOL TO GO SOLAR-POWERED
An SE1 school will be one of the first in London to get
the solar powered treatment as part of a new initiative
launched by the Elephant Links Partnership.

BANKSIDE OPEN SPACES TRUST CONFERENCE: A SPACE FOR LIFE
Wednesday 17 April  
1.30-7.45pm at King's College London, Franklin-Wilkins
Building, 150 Stamford Street
In this intensive half- day conference, experts in many
fields of parks management will share their
perspectives on how best to manage parks and open
spaces. Share your opinions with up to 300
practitioners and local people at one of the five
afternoon workshops on Play, Homelessness, Anti-social
Behaviour, Funding or Health. Space is limited so book
early to avoid disappointment. If you would like to

will be attending the whole conference or whether you
will be attending from 6pm onwards. Please specify any
special requirements and which workshop you would like
